Community fundraising VOLUNTEER

We require dynamic individuals who can work closely with the Community & Events Officer in our busy Fundraising team.

 Reporting to:

Community & Events OfficerEastbourne For Kathryn


Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare and some off site locations

 Days or Hours Required:

  • Volunteers can work any day of the week, dedicating as much or as little time as they wish

Description of duties:

  • Placing and collecting Raystede collection boxes
  • Assisting with events on and off site
  • Helping with street collections
  • Holding fundraising events ranging from coffee mornings to a black tie ball

Skills and Experience you will need:

  • Computer literate 
  • Happy working outside 
  • Confident to work alone and in small teams
  • Ability to cope with a physical role involving some lifting and carrying
  • Polite and engaging manner and happy to talk to visitors
  • An interest in working with animals
  • Own transport to get to and from Raystede
