Leti. 18 months old Pointer cross. Bouncy Leti is a pretty girl who is full of beans. She needs a really active home with people committed to full training. Leti had a bad start to life and will need extra support to adjust to some new situations. She is not suitable to live with young children or cats but is very social and playful with other dogs.
Gonzales. 1 year Jack Russell Cross. This lively young dog is a new arrival and is currently undergoing assessment, further details will follow.
Lilly. 4 months medium mongrel. Bouncy Lilly needs a home committed to providing her with full training. She is very active and mischievous. Lilly is social with other dogs, may be able to be trained to live with cats and could live with confident older children.
Jimmy. 3 years Jack Russell. This poor dog was left tied up in our car park, he is extremely traumatised and staff are patiently working to gain his trust. We hope Jimmy will be brave enough to look for a new home soon.
Spot. 5 years Jack Russell. This sweet boy is a new arrival, further details will follow his assessment.
Hobo. 7 years medium Mongrel. This friendly dog is feeling a little insecure and would like a home to call his own. Hobo is fairly easy going and walks nicely on the lead. He is generally social with other dogs and could live with older children. Hobo is still being tested for suitability to live with cats.
Ginger. 8 months Jack Russell cross. This sweet little dog is a new arrival, further details will follow her assessment.
Willow. 7 months Collie x Australian Cattle dog German Sheppard? Willow is a lively young dog who is very bright and likes to be kept busy. He needs a very active home with plenty to do, experienced owners with knowledge of his breed types committed to his ongoing training. Willow is very boisterous with other dogs, not suited to live with cats or children.
Roxie. 5 years Yorkshire Terrier. She is feeling a little overwhelmed as a new arrival, further details will follow her assessment.
Lulu. 7 months Husky, new arrival. Please find out more about the breed’s requirements from a home by visiting the Siberian Husky Club of Great Britain web site.
Narla. 2 years Lurcher. This beautiful dog is really timid and will need a patient and understanding home. Once she trusts people Narla loves a fuss and she is starting to enjoy going out for walks too. Narla can be worried by other dogs and is not suitable to live with cats. She would be better suited to a quieter home environment and so any children would need to be older and calm.
Pippin.
3 year old Staffie cross. Pippin is very affectionate and loves company and cuddles, as well as playing fetch. She can be strong on-lead and needs some training. Pippin is not used to young children and cannot live with cats. She can have low tolerance of other dogs so would like to be the only pet.
Tia. 8 months Staffie cross. Tia arrived in a state of neglect and is currently receiving extensive veterinary treatment. She has grown in confidence though and is a friendly, bouncy young dog who will need an energetic home committed to training. Tia is social and very playful with other dogs. She will not be available to home till she has returned to full health.

Eleanor. 1 year Rottweiler. Ellie is a new arrival, further details will follow her assessment.
Stan. 2 years Bassett Hound. Fun loving Stan is a real character, he likes to be the centre of attention and everyone is his best friend. Stan is social with other dogs but not suitable to live with cats. He could live with older children but they would need to be confident around dogs as he can be boisterous. Any potential new owners should research the breed’s character before considering whether they can offer Stan a suitable home...he can be stubborn and strong willed, likes to “sing” and when he picks up a scent he’ll ignore any attempts to call him back!!
Baloo. Great Dane x Newfoundland, 11 months, male. Very large dog, so the new owners will need to be in a position to accommodate this size in every respect, and to be able to handle him out and about. Very sweet boy, very affectionate. Needs basic training continued, especially with his OTT playing around other dogs.
Chester. 8 months Collie x Husky. Lively young Chester is a new arrival. Further information will follow his assessment once settled.

Paddy. 13 years Corgi cross. Paddy has a huge character and is looking for a home that will accept that he knows his own mind! She is however a very happy young dog, not distressed by her condition and making excellent progress in the kennels. Bambi needs a very special home, she is not an easy dog to care for but is very rewarding. She has battled through so much that she really deserves a home to call her own where she can continue to flourish.
Rosie. 13 years plus mongrel (small/medium). Pretty Rosie can be nervous and needs a quite but active home where she can enjoy her twilight years feeling safe and loved. Rosie would like to be the only pet in the home and would rather not live with children.

Re-homing a rescue dog is immensely rewarding however it is important that you choose a dog that suits your experience, expectations, lifestyle and accommodation. Consider your long term responsibilities to providing a dog with all the care they need for a happy future.
The kennel team are available for re-homing enquiries 7 days a week between 10am and 4pm, however you do need to allow an hour or so for the process to work so please arrive by 2.45pm on any day to allow us to complete the process by 4pm.
Please fill out an application form available from reception.
A member of the kennel team will then discuss your application with you and provide more information about our available dogs.
If you choose a dog, you may put a reserve on them. You will need to arrange all household members and any resident dogs to also meet this dog.
A home visitor will then contact you to arrange a convenient time to visit your home to check suitability for your chosen dog.
