Volunteer

Volunteering is vital to Raystede. We simply would not be able to continue our important work without volunteers’ support.

Currently we have a team of over 100 volunteers freely giving their spare time to cover so many diverse roles at Raystede.

Volunteering can provide valuable work experience, is sociable, satisfying, fun and looks good on your CV!

We provide our volunteers with uniform – which keeps your clothes cleaner! -and tea/coffee. All our volunteers need to take part in on-site induction including Health & Safety and Fire Training.

To ensure the smooth running of our charity we do like our volunteers to commit to a minimum of 3 months work on a regular basis.

Due to the rural location of our site, you will need your own transport. Please note – you need to be over 18 to volunteer at Raystede.
