Animal Care Manager
Could you join us at Raystede and lead the Animal Welfare Department, including our Customer Services Unit?
Reporting to the Chief Executive, as a member of his Senior Management Team, you need to be an exceptional animal care professional, who would enjoy the challenge of leading our animal welfare units - dogs, cats, equine, small animals, wildlife, aviaries, tortoises, terrapins, ducks, geese, wildfowl and more!
Each of these units either rehome or give sanctuary to animals and we want you to do all the management basics – ie work to current policies and demonstrate good management practices, show proper budget responsibility and good team building skills; practice first class communication skills and be computer literate. You also need to show us you can build strong relationships with staff, customers and supporters – but we want more! We want a leader who can help us deliver a future where people and animals live in perfect harmony, sharing mutual respect.
You will already have a successful track record in delivering a demanding agenda in a complex organisation and will possess good motivational skills as well as business acumen and a flair to manage change effectively.
For an informal discussion please contact Ann McCawley, Operations Manager.
