What’s on offer

Raystede invites all animal crazy 8-12 year olds to spend a day helping us out! There will be some hands on time with the animals on site. The day will also involve some animal related craft making and enrichment work.

Led by our friendly team, children can gain a behind-the-scenes glimpse at Raystede’s work and take part in fun-filled days packed with adventure and fun. Drop your children off at 11am and pick them up again at 3pm. £35.00 per child.

Event only scheduled twice a year in February and October half terms.

Book early to avoid disappointment.

What to bring

Children should wear clothes they do not mind getting messy! There are lots of outdoor activities and arts and crafts. Please bring waterproofs and wellies if the weather forecast is grim. On sunny days hats and suncream are a must.

Also don’t forget to bring a packed lunch or if you prefer we have a cafe selling lots of good things to eat and drink.

Children might want a small amount of money with them to spend in our shop.
