Black Cat October!

Tuesday 15 October

Black cats are often overlooked by potential adopters for one reason or another and as a consequence end up in rehoming centres for longer periods than other colours/breeds.

With this in mind we would like to introduce a “Black Cat October” during the Halloween period to highlight the plight of black cats and to bring them to the forefront of people’s minds when adopting.

During this period we will be holding “Black Cat of the Week” where we will feature black cats that are looking for homes.

Our first black cat looking for a home is Cocoobie...

EmmaCocoobie11500My name is Cocoobie and I have been at Raystede since the end of May. I am hoping to find  a new home for me to share my boundless affection and cuddles with. I am 8 years young and have been neutered and vaccinated but I do need to have my coat regularly brushed to keep it looking pristine and to help maintain my handsome good looks!

My favourite thing is being outdoors so I would love a garden that I can explore and call my own.
I have been a little bit of a foodie so will am on a strict diet at the moment but I am sure once I have a garden to exercise in I will lose my tummy and wobbly bits!!
My ideal family would have no other pets or children as I would like to have all the attention myself!
If you would like to find out more about me, or would like to meet me, please contact Raystede on 0844 875 1252.
There is an excellent video of me on the Raystede website too...please do take a look. I LOOK GORGEOUS (if I do say so myself!).
Love Cocoobie xx
