Friday 11 April
Thanks to our best year ever in our Charity Shop we have been making some changes to the charity shop! Everyone is welcome to our re opening on Thursday 17th April from 10 am. Ashley Price, Local councillor and Raystede supporter is kindly opening the shop for us at 11am. Come along and see the changes, and celebrate the fantastic work of our staff and volunteers. We would love to see our regular customers and some new people too. Help us celebrate the success of the charity shop which has only been made possible by our generous donators! Thank you to everyone who has worked so hard to help, the staff and volunteer team look forward to meeting you.
‘Desperately wanted! Our customers love buying Toys and CD’s, please bring to any of your unwanted items for ‘re-homing’. Every penny of profit goes to the animals.
Our newly refurbished shop gives us even more space to display donated goods as well as introduce a much requested fitting room.
There have been some behind the scenes improvements too – our volunteers now have the space to process donations quickly and efficiently.
Sue Ryder, retail manager, joined the Raystede team in October, she said ‘Working with the volunteers and getting to know our customers has been really interesting. I hope that shoppers will enjoy visiting the shop and see that their suggestions have been vital to the changes we have made. It’s fantastic to display even more goods at the same great value. We could not have managed it so cost effectively without the dedicated support of our volunteers.’
New products are available and include children’s ‘pocket money’ gifts and Raystede branded products.
