Firewalk Running Order
Friday 31 October
We really do appreciate those taking part in our Firewalk of the Living Dead tonight. Without the help of our supporters we could not continue our valuable work with the animals at Raystede. Every single step that you take on the fire will be helping another animal at Raystede.
Here is the schedule for the evening:
17.00-17.55 Firewalkers registration. Please park in the main Raystede car park. If this car park is full we will have overflow parking and you will be directed to this area. We have limited car parking, so please car share wherever possible. Please make your way to the Registration desk.
18.00 Firewalkers all go to the barn with Cliff Mann from Time4change for a two hour briefing.
20.00 End of briefing. Walk to the site of the firewalk. Start firewalking!
21.00 End of firewalk and demonstration of glass walking! We are holding a glass walk at Raystede next year so this is a taster demo.
21.15 Halloween party with DJ set in the barn.
22.00-22.15 End of DJ set. Walkers and audience leave Raystede
We will have food and refreshments on site including a bar so whilst you are in the barn your supporters can eat and drink. This will all be open until 22.00 so you too can grab a bite to eat and a well earned drink!
As it is Halloween fancy dress is optional but not compulsory, you will be walking across a fire so bear that in mind when choosing your outfits!
If any of you could bring a hollowed out, carved Halloween pumpkin the best pumpkin carving will be awarded a prize!
We are very weather dependent and the area for the briefing sometimes gets a little muddy or damp, so please bring something to sit on when having your briefing, a blanket or a towel. Torches may also be useful!
We would really appreciate you bringing any cash sponsorship and forms on the night and also a Just Giving total. We also understand that sponsorship will come in after the event but please bring what you can.
Thank you so very much for facing the challenge of walking the fire and helping our animals here at Raystede.
