Half term animal sessions at Raystede

Thursday 22 September

If you’ve ever thought about getting a dog, cat, rabbit or even pony, but aren’t sure about what the animal’s needs would be, Raystede is on hand to help. This Half Term, “Ask About...” sessions are being held at Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare in Ringmer, East Sussex where you can find out all the information you need to make a decision as to whether a pet is right for you.

Each session will focus on a particular animal, with a member of our specialised staff leading the talk and ready to answer your questions. Throughout Half Term, you can “Ask About...”

  • Equines on Monday 24th October 2-3pm
  • Dogs on Tuesday 25th October 11am-12pm
  • Small Animals on Wednesday 26th October 2-3pm
  • Birds on Thursday 27th October 11am-12pm
  • Cats on Friday 28th October 2-3pm

Spaces are limited, so booking is highly recommended. We are suggesting a donation of £4 per person and you can secure your place by calling 01825 840747 or emailing fundraising@raystede.org

Chief Executive Nigel Mason said, “We are really excited about these events. At Raystede, we believe it is vital that people know what to expect if they are thinking about taking on an animal, no matter how big or small it is. Our staff are fully dedicated to the welfare of all our animals and they are always very keen to pass on their extensive experience and knowledge to others to make the rehoming process more successful for everyone involved and of course, the animal in question.”

Anyone interested in making a donation or in rehoming an animal should visit www.raystede.org
