Unfortunately we are unable to manage a waiting list of people interested in volunteering, however we regularly update the current roles page. Please keep checking, as there are always new roles becoming available. Please allow up to 2 weeks for your application to be processed.
Our volunteers need to be 16 years old or over and must have transport to the centre.

We are seeking two new trustees to join our Board to help support the current Trustees and Chief Executive in continuing to deliver the objectives of the Charity.
We invite individuals with skills and experience in either veterinary care, animal welfare, animal behaviour, media and social media, establishment management or retail management who can help add value to our Board with their professional knowledge. Applicants should have the ability to be a good strategic thinker and to be able to work collaboratively. It is most important that applicants are passionate about animal welfare.
The successful candidates will help develop our next five year strategic plan.

Aviairies Enrichment Volunteer
Our events calendar is packed with activities throughout the year to help raise vital funds to continue our work. These events range from our hugely successful Summer Fair to our daring annual Firewalk Challenge.
We are looking for welcoming, confident volunteers to meet and greet the thousands of visitors who visit Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare each year. You will guide our visitors around our 43 acre site, answer questions about our work and ensure that our visitors are welcomed with a big smile and friendly face.
This role is suitable for anyone who is interested in a customer-facing role or simply loves to talk to others and share their love of Raystede.
Volunteering alongside our education team in delivering animal welfare husbandry education.
