NB – there won't be an opportunity to meet specific animals at this event, but you can register your interest and apply to adopt.

We will give you lots of information and support when you adopt.

  • At Raystede, we rescue, rehome and care for animals of all shapes and sizes from dogs, cats and rabbits to mice, guinea pigs and even horses. We work to improve welfare standards through education and awareness.
  • Adopting an animal is a big decision. Before you apply, have you thought about what is involved? Raystede’s Rehoming Mornings are the perfect place to find out more. Just pop along speak to one of our friendly team.
  • When animals arrive with us, we get to know them through behaviour and medical assessments. Our expert animal care teams carefully use this information alongside your application to see if the match could be a success.
  • All our animals are health-checked, neutered and vaccinated before being rehomed. There’s a fee which varies according to species. Raystede is with you throughout the process and on hand to provide support and advice for the rest of the animal’s life.
  • If adoption is not right for you at the moment, have you considered fostering? Please come along to find out about joining our wonderful team of animal foster carers.

If you have already registered with us and are interested in a particular animal on our website, then please email info@raystede.org

We rely on your donations to help animals like Topsy.

When Topsy arrived with us, he was severely underweight and needed a lot of care. We couldn't help the amount of animals we do without your support. Please donate to help more animals get the care they deserve.
