Thank You For Being Our Valentine!

It was so lovely to see all the dogs and owners that came to Raystede last Saturday for the Valentine's Fun Dog Show...

Thanks so much to everyone that came along to our Valentine's Fun Dog show at the weekend and congratulations to all the top dogs that won rosettes and goody bags in the categories below:

Biggest Sweetheart

Best Cuddler

Most Appealing Eyes

Dog Most Likely To Steal Your Heart

Dog Most Likely To Get You A Date

Biggest Heart-throb

We'd like to thank Metrobank for coming along to judge the classes, and for providing treats for all the entrants and goody bags for the winning dogs. We were also joined by the charismatic Jason Burrill (winner of the 2017 Big Brother) and the wonderful Steve Pickup from the Sussex County Cricket Club who helped judge the dog show. Thanks also to the enigmatic Rebecca Smart who was our lovely compere for the event.

We raised almost £800 from the Valentine's dog show, which is absolutely fantastic! This will go towards helping us to care for the animals at Raystede. For every £25 donated, it could help us to buy one of our kennel dogs a cosy dog bed, so your support really does make a big difference to us.

We were also lucky enough to be joined by not one but two fabulous volunteer photographers on the day, Lee Nolan and Dave Churchill. You can check out Lee Nolan's photos here and Dave Churchill's here.  There are also a few extra photos on Facebook and if you have any of your own we'd love to see them, so please feel free to share them on our social media pages.

If you are new to Raystede then why not keep in touch with the work we do and sign up to our monthly newsletter.

If you enjoyed our Valentine's Fun Dog Show or missed out on it, we do have lots more dog friendly events going on throughout the year. To look at our future events you can follow this link.
