Following the success of our 1950's Vintage Day last year, on Sunday 13th May we will be celebrating 66 years of re-homing, rescuing and providing sanctuary to animals by holding our very first 1960's day!
If you received one of our 2018 Raystede calendars the date of '60's Rayfest' was initially going to be on the 19th May. However, following the Royal Wedding and the FA Cup final being held on this date, we thought it would be best to move the date to the 13th May so as many of you as possible can come and join in the fun!
60's Rayfest will take place at Raystede from 11 a.m- 4 p.m and there will be a whole range of groovy activities going on. We will have a range of 1960's themed stalls, a live band, a fun dog show, a bar, delicious food and lots more for you to enjoy on the day. We will also be holding a fancy dress competition and the most imaginative, crazy, unique costume will win a prize.
We'll be asking for a £5 donation from adults to come to 60's Rayfest and children can come in for free!
If you have any 60's Classic Cars that you'd like to display on the day please get in touch with Anna Battersby by phoning us on 01825 840747 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
We will be releasing more information on the lead up to the event, but we do hope that you will join us in celebrating 66 years of love and support for the animals at our centre.
