Will you be accepting donated items for the Raystede Charity Shop and animal food/pet goods when you re-open?

From Friday 18th September we will be accepting donations for our Charity Shop and donations of animal food and pet goods on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays (only) 10am to 3pm. If you are donating items on these days and wish to also visit Raystede you will need to book a ticket prior to your visit. If you are only donating items and not visiting the site, Shop or Café there is no need to book a ticket as donations can be left in a storage facility in the car park without accessing the main site. Please note that it costs the charity vital funds to dispose of items that are unsuitable or in an unsellable condition so please don’t include these, here is a list of what we cannot accept. If you are unsure about donating any goods for our Shop please call our Charity Shop Team on: 01825 880475 to check if we need and can use your items or call Customer Services if you are unsure whether we can use any pet goods or animal food. Please note we can only accept unopened food/treats for our animals in its original packaging.

Am I still able to buy Pet Food, Cat Litter and other Pet Goods from Raystede?

We are continuing to offer a Pet Food and Pet Goods collection service by appointment please call our Customer Services Team on 01825 840252 or email: retail@raystede.org with your requirements and we will reply with availability and prices. Our Pet Goods shop will be open as usual to general visitors on site who have a valid entry ticket for that day.

Do I need a ticket to visit the Raystede charity shop?

Yes. There is no access to any area on site, including the Raystede Charity Shop, unless you have a valid ticket for that day.

Will the Café be open to Visitors with a ticket?

Refreshments on site will be available from “Little Grazers” takeaway van. From October 5th, our Café will be open also. We politely ask that you do not bring a picnic to Raystede, please support us and use our Café.

Do I need to wear a mask?

It is optional to wear a mask around the site but as per government guidelines if you visit any of the shops, Customer Services or the mobile catering facility on site you will need to wear a mask. When the Café re-opens visitors will be required to wear a mask for ordering takeaway, not when you are seated at your table.
