We are looking for as many horse riders and cyclists as possible to take on our Ride Out for Raystede challenge. You can do this anytime, on a date that suits you.
With many of the big events being cancelled this year due to the global pandemic, this could be the perfect challenge to help us raise vital funds for Raystede, as you can easily abide to the social distancing rules and regulations. With Raystede being shut for months and losing £1,000 every day it's closed, we need your help more than ever to raise funds for the animals.
So why not join us on our Ride Out for Raystede challenge? You can ride in any location for any distance on a date of your choice. Or perhaps you'd like to complete your Ride Out challenge over the month instead? You could ride for 5 miles a day, or perhaps fit in 50 miles of riding in a month? You could even sign up with a friend so that you have company for your ride out.
So hop on your horse for a hack or bring out your bike and have a ride in the sunshine. To take part in this terrific challenge we are asking that adults pay £10 and children pay £5 to register. We also ask that adults try to raise £50 and children try to reach a £25 target. We will offer the highest fundraiser and the person who's participated in the most inventive ride out a behind the scenes tour of Raystede. They will also receive additional Raystede goodies.
To book on follow THIS LINK. After signing up you will receive a special high vis tabard saying 'Ride 4 Raystede' as well as a welcome pack full of fundraising ideas to help you raise your target. Your welcome pack will also include a sponsor form, or alternatively why not set up a Justgiving page by following this link.
We will support you on the lead up to the event and would love to hear how you get on, so please do send any photos from your challenge to email@example.com or tag us on social media.
After completing your challenge your horse will receive their very own Raystede rosette and cyclists will receive a Raystede medal. You will also receive a certificate to recognise your amazing contribution to the animals.
