Are you currently in lockdown with your cat? As cats are such independent creatures perhaps yours' is getting frustrated at having to share their space with so many people in lockdown. Why not give them the chance to be the cat who's got the cream and enter them into our Virtual Fun Cat Show?
If you think your feline is the cat's whiskers and our judges agree, they could win themselves a special Raystede rosette as well as a little goody bag. You would also be helping us to raise vital funds for the Raystede rescue animals.
Due to the coronavirus outbreak, Raystede is currently shut to visitors and we are losing £1,000 every single day we are closed! We need your help more than ever to ensure we raise enough money to look after the 400 animals that are at our centre.
So, why not enter your cat into our Virtual Fun Cat Show? All you need to do is:
1. Click on THIS LINK to enter them into one of the below categories. After clicking on this link make sure you scroll right down to the bottom of the page and pick the category that you'd like to enter, putting the number of entries you'd like into the box before clicking continue.
2. Send your photos or videos to email@example.com. Please make sure you put the category you're entering, into the 'Subject' box in the email. You can send one photo/video for each category and If you could send separate emails for each category you've entered into that would be great.
(Please note your photos and Videos may be shared with The Argus for them to publish.)
Our online Fun Cat Show will stay open until the 26th June 2020. All the entries will then be judged and there will be a winner and three runners up in each category. All winners and runners up will receive a special Raystede rosette and goody bag.
Each entrant will also automatically be entered into the 'Best In Show' category. If your cat wins the 'Best in Show' they will receive a unique Raystede rosette, a goody bag, a signed copy of Noel Fitzpatrick's recent book.
It's £4 to enter your cat into one of the below categories:
Most Appealing Eyes
Worst At Social Distancing
Most Fabulous Fella
You can either send us a photo or a video for each category, although it may be easier for us to judge the 'Chattiest Cat' class if you send us a video.
Perhaps your cat has a 'Puss In Boot' type stare and you think they could win the 'Most Appealing Eyes' category or maybe they really are angry about lockdown and would be a front runner for the 'Grumpiest Cat' class. So why not enter our Virtual Fun Cat Show today and support your local rescue centre by following THIS LINK.
By entering and donating to us you really are helping us raise vital funds. We receive no government funding, rely on voluntary donations and could not carry on our work without you!
