Established over 65 years ago, Raystede is an animal welfare charity passionate about the health and wellbeing of all animals.
We are committed to giving animals the best possible life. We do this by rescuing, rehabilitating, rehoming and providing sanctuary for more than 2,000 animals at our site near Lewes. We also engage with over 200,000 students and visitors each year to provide animal welfare education.
Located near Ringmer in East Sussex, the charity’s 43 acre site is open to visitors all year. It's a unique and beautiful place. A gem in the heart of the Sussex countryside.
We are seeking two new trustees to join our Board - The role will be to help support the current Trustees and Chief Executive in continuing to deliver the objectives of the Charity.
We invite individuals with higher level skills and experience in either animal welfare or education, who can add value to our board with their professional knowledge.
Applicants should have the ability to be a good strategic thinker and to be able to work collaboratively. It is most important that applicants are passionate about animal welfare.
