Entry is FREE but it is essential to book a ticket. Visitor numbers are limited for the welfare of our nervous rescue animals and to provide a better visitor experience.

The Sanctuary area and dog walk around the lakes are currently closed until the Autumn due to the Project Terrapin construction work.

The Aviaries close at 2pm every day for the welfare of our birds.

Dropping off donated goods

Donations can be dropped off at the shop Monday – Saturday, 9am – 4pm, Sunday, 10am and 3pm. If you are dropping off items in the car, you can drive right up to our donation station, at the rear of the shop, via Waitrose car park.

If you wish to donate larger goods, please contact the shop in the first instance.

New Raystede charity shop now open in Hailsham!

We are thrilled to be opening our third high street charity shop and becoming part of the Hailsham community.

There are bargains galore in store! You will find clothes for adults and, children. There is a range of accessories, homeware, toys, books, bric-a-brac and much more.

All proceeds from the shop will go towards helping the animals in Raystede’s care.

Located at 41 Vicarage Fields, Hailsham, BN27 1BG, it has easy access and parking close by.
