Some of the cats we take in need urgent medical care or are traumatised by neglect or abuse. As a result, some of the cats need over a month to recover before they're ready to go to a new home. Others simply need to be rehomed, maybe due to their owner’s ill health or a change in circumstances. We have around 35 cats staying in our cattery at any one time, so your sponsorship really does matter. Not everyone can rehome a cat, we understand that, but safeguarding their future and caring for the cats and the other animals at Raystede is what means the most to us.
