We normally have up to 20 rabbits in our care at any one time. Post pandemic and due to the cost-of-living crisis, there has been a huge slowdown in people wanting to adopt rabbits and it is taking longer than ever before to find new homes for them. Some of the rabbits we take in are suffering from neglect or need urgent medical care. Others simply need to be rehomed, maybe due to their owner’s ill health or a change in circumstances. Rabbits shouldn’t live on their own, so our expert Small Animals Team offer a rabbit bonding service for people looking to find a companion for a one rabbit household, which also helps us to rehome solitary rabbits.
