Do you want to get your pulse racing and raise money for Raystede at the same time?! Then why not take part in one of our challenges that you will never forget whilst raising much needed sponsorship for our centre.

Parachute Jump- All Year Round

If you'd like a really exciting challenge, then you could sign up to do a parachute jump for Raystede. You can do a skydive any time of the year and can sign up by following this link. There’s a £395 fundraising target, which includes a £70.00 registration fee. Did you know £500 would buy 100 heat lamps to keep our dogs and cats warm and snugly during the winter months.

If you would like an information pack on doing a parachute jump for us you can request one by following this link or by emailing jcampbell@raystede.org.

Raystede Gliding Evenings- Thursday 6th July & Thursday 13th July 2017

Would you like to get a unique bird's eye view of Raystede?! Then why not help us celebrate 'Bird Month' in July and take up our gliding challenge where you will get to see what Raystede and our animals look like from the air.

The gliding will take place at the East Sussex Gliding Club opposite Raystede from 6.p.m. There will be fully qualified instructors who will let you have a go on the controls. Once your flight has finished you can enjoy a celebratory drink in the bar.

If you'd like to sign up, we're asking for a £25 registration fee and the fundraising target is £50 per person. Our centre costs £6,000 a day to run, and all the money donated to Raystede will go directly to help our animals. It would be fantastic to have you join us on the evening, and this is the link to sign up for the gliding evening on the 6th July 2017 and this is the link to sign up for the gliding evening on the 13th July 2017.

If you would like to join us on the Gliding Evening, you must not exceed 16 stone and must be no taller than 6ft 2. We also suggest that you don't take part if you have any serious medical conditions or injuries that might result in a dangerous situation during the flight.
