Calling all cycling groups - Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare

The UK Government have applied an Avian Influenza Protection Zone across the UK. This means that we must close our Aviaries to the public until the restrictions are lifted.

We do NOT have this virus at Raystede but we are required to put in place a range of measures to protect our birds. We are still open and welcome visitors to the rest of the site – please book your ticket.

Book your visit

Raystede is always happy to host cycling groups. There are plenty of refreshments to enjoy in our cafe, clean facilities and ample outdoor space to keep your bikes in sight. We also have a cycle repair kit available should you need one in an emergency.

Please book in advance to let us know how many cyclists will be in your group and approximately what time you expect to arrive. This will allow our cafe staff to be prepared for your visit.
