Entry is free but all visitors are asked to book a ticket – this is essential to ensure the site is as safe as possible for visitors, the animals in our care, staff and volunteers.

Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare and Peaceways Pet Crematorium are situated on the B2192, between Ringmer and Halland, opposite the East Sussex Gliding Club. The centre will be temporarily closing to general visitors from Thursday 5th November. We are still open to animals that need us!

From Lewes

Raystede is five miles north-east of Lewes. Shortly after leaving Lewes on the A26, signposted “Uckfield”, bear right onto the B2192 signposted “Heathfield/Ringmer”.

From A22

At the Halland Roundabout, take the B2192 exit signed “Ringmer”. Raystede is two miles along this road on the right-hand side before reaching Ringmer.
