Koda

A wise, gentle soul who has thrived since being in our care.

Koda is a wise, gentle soul who has thrived since being in our care.

He did not have the correct support, behaviourally or emotionally, during a critical time in his development.
Therefore, he can be cautious of new people, lots of activity and loud noises.
However, has grown in confidence and much more willing to make friends.
He seems to be drawn to some children, watching quietly from afar therefore would consider older children (10+) in the home if suitable experience and calm.

Koda struggles around other dogs and will vocalise this. This seems to stem from frustration and we have been working on reducing this, working with dogs at a distance. He has been making steady progress. It is likely away from kennels this will improve however he will require some management and walks in quieter locations.
Will need to be the only dog in the home at this stage.
No cats.

His breed type requires a high level of input to meet his needs for mental stimulation and activity levels.
Koda is very affectionate, cheeky and playful!

Koda will require a fun home in the countryside as the only pet with a secure, private garden.

We rely on your donations to help animals like Topsy.

When Topsy arrived with us, he was severely underweight and needed a lot of care. We couldn't help the amount of animals we do without your support. Please donate to help more animals get the care they deserve.
