Rufus has been with us a few weeks receiving extra support, he will be ready to find a new home soon.
Rufus is a bouncy, active youngster, he loves to race about and play, go for adventurous walks and then have lots of cuddles on the sofa.
Once Rufus trusts someone, he forms a very close and affectionate bond, however he is worried by people he does not know, becoming extremely vocal and reactive. He has been receiving support to help him learn calmer responses however management and commitment will be needed to continue to help him reduce his fearfulness.
He will require an adult only home at this stage.
He can be worried by some dogs though would benefit from living with a suitably matched canine companion (small/medium sized).
Rufus has not been assessed around cats yet.
He enjoys travelling in the car and can be left for a few hours, he will need some house training still.
