Raystede being one that we have chosen, as our local animal charity, who offer a home to such an amazing variety of rescued animals in need, all cared for by wonderfully dedicated staff offering specialist care and support, until found a new home or cared for at Raystede for the rest of their lives.

Raystede rely on the public’s help, consequently without it, they would not be able to offer the shelter and medical care for animals in need.’

Why Ann chose to leave Raystede a special gift


“We are so grateful to Raystede for rehabilitating our two special dogs Hugo and Nigel, who have become such an important part in all our lives.

Nigel had had a difficult time before entering the sanctuary of Raystede and in the beginning in a different and new environment, his behaviour could be challenging.

However, with patience and understanding, he has become the most affectionate and loving companion.

Accordingly, I have left a bequest to Raystede in my Will so that many more dogs in difficult circumstances will be able to have the opportunities that Hugo and Nigel have had."
