Peaceways Pet Crematorium and Garden of Remembrance Open Day

On Sunday 24 March, 10am to 2pm, join us at our Peaceways open day and find out more about England's first Pet Crematorium.

Sunday 24 March 2024

10am – 2pm

Talks at 11am and 1pm

Come along to our Peaceways Open Day to see what a beautiful, tranquil place it is and combine it with a visit to Raystede.

Peaceways is England’s first pet crematorium, established in 1964 by Miss Raymonde-Hawkins, MBE, Founder of Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare, a short distance away. Since then, it has helped many people navigate the difficult journey of what to do when a pet dies and how best to remember them.

Peaceways provides a caring, sensitive and personal service to helping people to say goodbye to their beloved animal companions. Set in beautiful woodland surroundings, Peaceways is a haven of calm, providing the choice and time to say final farewells and, when the time is right, the opportunity return and commemorate pets’ lives in the tranquil Rose Garden of Remembrance.

Free entry but booking essential as numbers are limited – please book here.

Or call Visitor Information on 01825 840252 to book.

Parking at Raystede, shuttle bus between Raystede and Peaceways.

Please note – there are no refreshments or toilet facilities at Peaceways.
